About the event

You are about to embark on a journey that will dramatically improve your health by focusing on nutrition and lifestyle changes that will optimize your metabolic flexibility.  

What is metabolic flexibility? Your body primarily uses two sources for fuel- sugar and fats. Ideally,  you should be efficient at using both, much like a hybrid car that can  switch between using electricity and gasoline. Due to an overconsumption  of sugars, both complex and simple, many people have lost this  metabolic flexibility and are stuck in a carbohydrate burning metabolic  state. When this happens, sugar cravings intensify and kickstart a  vicious cycle of blood sugar spikes and crashes that can have a major  impact on our health. This can lead to unfavorable side effects that are precursors to modern diseases such as diabetes, inflammatory disorders and autoimmune disorders. 

There are many benefits of shifting your metabolism to be able to switch between fat and sugar burning, including:

FOOD AND NUTRITION- When it comes to health and wellness, food is the foundation- the first building block of living a happy and healthy lifestyle. The program is not a quick fix. It is designed to teach you what and how to eat so that you can make lifestyle changes, as well as form new habits and routines to achieve optimal health and wellness.

FASTING- You will learn about intermittent fasting and block fasting that will shift your body into deeper states of therapuetic ketosis to increase stem cell production (our bodies ability to create new healthy cells), quicken autophagy (our bodies ability to recycle damaged old cells).

CLEANSE AND DETOXIFY- Fasting and eating clean have an incredible impact on the bodies ability to cleanse and detoxify.

EXERCISE- Adding movement to your routine such as yoga, walking, stretching, strength training, swimming or cycling are great places to start.

RELAXATION AND RHYTHMS- Mindfulness and creating self care routines are important factors for health and wellness.

MONITORING KETONES AND GLUCOSE- Collect data with a ketone and glucose monitor as you become keto adapted on your journey to acheiving metabolic flexibility and optimize wellness.

UNDERSTANDING HORMONE BALANCING- Learn about stress and sleep hormones and how blood sugar can effect them, including tools for balancing.

MOMENTUM- In the final week, you will learn how to sustain your momentum by using the tools you have learned throughout the program  to continue achieving optimal wellbeing and meeting your goals.
