About the event
Cleanse, detoxify, and fat-adapt to reset and heal your metabolism.
The seven week Metabolic Reset Program meets once a week beginning Monday October 9th from 6pm-7pm online via Zoom. The program is recorded and available for those who cannot commit to regularly meeting at this time, and also offers support outside of our scheduled Monday meeting.
This life changing program is designed by Dr. James Bentz and facilitated by Dr. Jaclyn Schlindwein, DACM & LAc, so that you have a strong team of health care providers available for ongoing support and guidance as you walk this journey towards better wellness.
There are many benefits of shifting your metabolism to be able to switch between fat and sugar burning, including:
- Increased energy, focus, and mental clarity
- Weight loss
- Improved insulin sensitivity and decreased blood glucose
- Increased stem cell production
- Improved hormonal balance
- Improved detoxification
- Changes in genetic expression (turning off bad genes and autoimmune diseases)
- Decreased inflammation and pain
- Decreased sugar and food cravings
Each week we will learn more about why we take the steps we do through the program and what the benefits are.
Our Seven Week Schedule is as follows:
Week One: Insulin and the Blood Sugar Roller Coaster. Begin keto-adaptation.
Week Two: Understanding Fats and Macros. Tracking snacking.
Week Three: Detoxification. Intermittent fasting.
Week Four: Stress and Sleep Hormones. Feast and Famine.
Week Five: Lectins and the Gut Microbiome. Continue Feast and Famine.
Week Six: Benefits of Extended Fasting: Begin block fast.
Week Seven: Incorporating healthy eating into your daily life after the Metabolic Reset Program.
It is important to note that major nutrition changes and fasting is best done when supervised by a medical professional.
