The theme of August's Sound Bath is: NURTURE.
As Summer begins to wind down and we see the subtle signs of Fall approaching, we are reminded that what goes up, must come down. After a whole season of burning brightly, it is time to begin slowing down, to harvest the fruits of our labors and receive in physical form (the nourishment from the earth) and energetic form (the love and care for self).
Magic Moon Medicine's Sound Baths are sweetly woven tapestries of sensation. Each sound bath features a theme and opens with a guided meditation that gently takes you on a journey deeper into yourself.
Participants are “bathed” in healing sound waves for the purpose of restoring harmony and balance in the body. A cocoon of sound generated by chimes, drums, singing bowls and other musical instruments helps to relax and re-calibrate your nervous system.
